Daisy's Dog Walking provides enriching and exciting group walks out in the countryside. Our rural group walks are quiet and spacious ensuring plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore and play with their friends. Our dog walking service covers Mickleover, Mackworth and Allestree. Dogs do not need to have recall as we use longlines for those without recall. Large breed dogs who are strong pullers will need to have recall for off lead walks. Please note that we are at capacity for solo walks and currently only have group walk spaces available.
Your dog's safety and welfare is our priority. Dogs do not have to be playful and bouncy to join our group walks but we do insist on kindness towards one another. I am very lucky to say that all of my group walk dogs are incredibly kind to one another and to me. We have many dogs who just plod along and sniff and others who love a good run and play with their friends. No matter what your dog prefers, our group walks cater to each dogs needs.
We specialise in reactive, anxious and fearful dogs. I have years of experience working with, and training, reactive and anxious dogs. If your dog is reactive or fearful please do not hesitate to contact us. We have successfully integrated many anxious dogs onto our group walks, who are not only enjoying every walk, but regularly making new friends.
Here at Daisy's Dog Walking we strive to offer the best possible walk for your dogs whether that's chasing a ball on a solo walk, playing with others on a group walk or sniffing to their hearts content!
Amy did an amazing job of dropping in on and walking my 2 beagles who can be a handful. She kept me informed and sent videos and photos. I was not worried knowing Amy treated them like family and they both thoroughly love her to bits. Thanks again Amy for your wonderful services. 😊

Enquire with us
To enquire with Daisy's Dog Walking please contact us either through our enquiry form, email or phone number to arrange a free 20 minute meet and greet. Please ensure to provide me with your location, services required and what days and times needed. This allows me to check my availability in advance of the meet and greet.

Meet and Greet
I will visit your home for a 20 minute meet and greet where we will discuss your dogs needs and arrange a suitable walking plan should you wish to use our services. This allows us to go through any questions we may have for each other. I will send our paperwork for you to read and sign.

Initial walk
All dogs will start with an initial solo walk. This allows us to get to know your pooches personality to see whether we are a good fit for you and your dog. This also allows us to figure out which group walk your dog is best fit for, should you be interested in group walks.

Walkies commence!
If you are happy with us at Daisy's Dog Walking taking your dog on walks, walkies will commence! You will receive a picture of your pooch on every walk.

What areas do you cover?
I only cover Mickleover and Allestree.
Do you have insurance?
I have pet business insurance through Protectivity. Proof of insurance can be provided.
How many dogs will you walk on group walks?
I am insured to walk 6 dogs. My dog comes on every group walk. I can only take up to 5 dogs on a group walk due to pick up and drop off timings.
How do you transport dogs for walks?
All dogs will be transported in their own individual crash safe lockable crates in my dedicated dog walking van.
All leads, longlines, poo bags and treats are provided by us. We require all dogs to wear a collar with ID tag and harness. We will never attach a longline to a collar.
Crash safe dog crates in our dedicated dog walking van with water bowls attached to the crates. The dogs are provided with water throughout the walk and during their time in the van.
We are fully insured through Protectivity and our professional dog walking van is covered with business insurance. We have a clean driving license and clean DBS.
We offer a complimentary rinse with our dog washer and a towel down at the end of each walk at no extra cost.
Each dog has a dog tag attached to their harness which says 'I'm with my dog walker' with my contact details and logo on for each walk.
All of our walks are taken in the countryside with occasional walks at Allestree park for a change of scenery!
During hot weather each dog has their own cool vest and cool collar. Each crate has its own cool mat and fan. Cool mats, cool vests and collars are kept in a plug-in cool box to keep them cold. Walks are taken earlier and only in the shade of Allestree park. Walks may be shortened or cancelled in extreme heat and home visits will be offered in its place.
You will receive an update with a picture and/or video with a personalised message about your pooches walk.
I have two pet first aid kits. I carry one with me on every walk and one remains in the van for emergencies. I am pet first aid trained and was previously a qualified life guard.
I have MukGuard reusable shoe covers to protect your home and keep it clean from my muddy dog walking boots!
Dogs will be out with me for about 1 hour and a half due to travel time out to the countryside, pick up and drop off and any required rinses with the dog washer!
I have spare harnesses, collars and coats for any mishaps and rainy days.
